Ed Lights and Grinilla

Bad news: Elena came home with news that a little boy in school had to shave his head because he had the Ed Lights (Head lice). And her favorite breakfast these days consists of yogurt, blueberries and granilla (granola). Her remarkably large vocabulary sometimes gets a little comical and I'm quite sure there are few things funnier than listening to her make sense of words she can't quite form. I love that little mind working.
And as you can see here, the kids still love bathtime and need that soap, as they are constantly running and getting generally banged up. Elena's legs are constantly welcoming a new band-aid and Michael would prefer to live outside. They are both incredibly active with Elena switching from gymnastics to tap this week and Michael still loving his tumbling class.

Michael is also talking up a storm these days and loves to repeat, "Oh, Mommmm." He can also identify all his body parts and can say most of them. He says "Daddy" very clearly, though he prefers, "Dada" still. He is very polite, using "please and thank you" most of the time. I'd say the lad has about 75-100 or so words and they are mutliplying quickly. He even says, "iPad" and can switch between applications on purpose.

He repeats most everything and seems to understand almost everything we say. He remains obsessed with shoes, jackets (jackie) and hats. His new big boy haircut may have aged him 10 years in looks, but he is still my baby boy.
