Don't hate me because I'm beautiful

Susan took these and I just love them so much and in honor of Father's Day, it seems fitting that the kids show their personalities right here for their loving Dad. Here are the beautiful little people that made Ryan a Daddy.

Some more of the war...

Here are some more shots of the war...hoping for a lot more from the show so we can document the experience, especially the fabulous time we had with all the amazing friends and family who helped...Uncle Corey flying in was the absolute best!

He's TWO

Our little Buck, our buddy, our Meat, the BooBoo is two and it's impossible, but it's true. He strings words together {i.e. DaddIE, ah doing?" (Daddy, what are you doing?) or "MommIE, you sing."}. He's the mellowest boy alive, spending extreme periods of time reading or 'driving.' But he can be an active little boy too and will smack you across the kisser should he disagree with you. He will promptly return to say, "Ah, sowwy" and kiss you. He just began spending his time on the naughty X when he won't apologize right away and we do our best to contain the laughter. Honestly, he's ridiculously loveable and I want to kiss him 24 hours a day. I can't believe he's two, but I adore the age. Everyone he touches turns to gold, but he is the best treasure. He and his sister have literally changed the world already. Think of what's to come...

Enjoying the good fortune

I've had a rough time keeping this thing updated lately and I'm hoping it's a phase...I love my blogging and I we've just been so darn busy this year, it's just tough finding the time (and energy). So here I go...

Michael dubs every color yellow and loves monkeys (monk-me). He's a darn ham and is mostly pure joy with a little bit of the terrible twos making an appearance. He copies everything his big sister does and just yesterday, paused in the hallway to say, "Come on, Lala" (em on, Yaya).

Elena is two weeks shy of finishing her year of Junior Kindergarten and is preparing for summer fun and some camps. She woke up a few days ago, got herself dressed, brushed, bed made (she's started doing this and has kept it up for a few weeks now) and this time, surprised us by making everyone breakfast (Cheerios). She was so proud and we were so proud of her. She takes on a lot more responsibility sometimes and sometimes acts every inch of her five years.

We have been coming down from the Turf War high for almost two weeks now and still can't believe our good fortune. It still feels like such a dream.

Otherwise, we are planning vacations, working a lot and living life. Featured here are some shots of Easter, Elena' 5 1/2 birthday, dentist (Michael's REAL first visit) and just more everyday.
